As We Open Up Our Worship Again, Here's What You Need to Know

  • We will begin worshiping again on Thursday, May 21st, and Sunday, May 24th.  Since services are limited to 50 people, it is super important that you sign up for the Manchester service you wish to attend. (See above)
  • We have added an early morning Sunday service in Manchester to give more opportunities for worship.
  • Our services will be different for a time.  In Manchester we will not be singing hymns; we will have solos.  There will be no hymnals in the pews.  Instead, you can follow the service on the screen.  We will not be coming to the altar for Communion; the bread and wine will be on a tray at the end of your pew.  We will sit in every other pew and social distance in the pews.  We will have a door offering instead of passing the offering plates.  There will be masks and sanitizer available in the entry for those who wish to use them.  These changes will make us sad.  We long for the days when things can return to normal.  But let us focus on the good news:  We are back in church again with our fellow believers And hopefully these things are temporary.
  • Both churches will continue to offer individual private Communion at church by appointment for the time being.  Please call the pastor for an appointment and directions as to how we are doing this (398-2885 or 767-1260).
  • The Manchester church will have one more drive-through "meet and greet" on Sunday, May 17th, from 9:30-11:00 a.m.  You can drive through the parking lot, say hi, and drop off your offering.
  • Sunday School parents:  If you would like the pastor to email you a Sunday School lesson each week, please text or call him at (920) 767-1260.
  • You are invited to watch our services on this website.  Every week we will also be adding a video with a sermon/devotion, readings, prayers, and a song or two.  (If your computer says your Adobe Flash Player is blocked, read the paragraph on the "Announcements" page.)
  • If you prefer, you can also watch our church service videos on our new Facebook page, St Paul's Lutheran Church, Manchester.
  • We also offer DVDs of our videos to those who don't have access to a computer or internet.  If you would like a DVD, or if you know of someone who would like this, please contact the pastor.
  • Our synod offers a huge list of churches that Livestream their worship services.  Simply go to wels.net, click on "Find a Church/School" (very top in the middle) and click on "Livestream" (top right in the blue bar).  You should find a complete list.
  • We are deleting events from our web-calendar two weeks into the future.  That means that there is no guarantee that we will have Bible classes in three weeks, even though they are still listed on the calendar.
  • If you are uneasy about or unable to go out to get groceries or run errands, or if you know of someone who is, we have volunteers who stand ready to help with this.  Contact the pastor.
  • If you know of someone who is in need of an at-home nebulizer, we have a member who has one to donate.  Contact the pastor.
  • If you have questions or concerns, please contact the pastor through this website or by phone (398-2885 or 920-767-1260).  In these uncertain times, we pray that the Lord would help us keep our focus on His refuge and strength.
